LG MAKES TV HISTORY AGAIN
No doubt, the unveiling of the world’s first 105-inch CURVED ULTRA HD TV (105UC9) will impress everyone at CES with a capital I. The award winning groundbreaking 105-inch CURVED ULTRA HD TV is officially the largest curved TV ever made.
This awe-inspiring TV offers magnificent picture quality and a wide viewing angle with the ability to render the minutest detail in breathtaking clarity to create an unprecedented level of viewer immersion. Regarding picture quality, through the successful collaboration between LG Electronics and LG Display, LG employed cutting-edge technology to provide a truly unique viewing experience with a resolution of 11 million pixel (5120 x 2160). This premium picture quality can be enjoyed on the CURVED ULTRA HD TV’s 21:9 CinemaScope screen which provides the advantages of enjoying movies as they were meant to be enjoyed and having extra space to access viewing information.
Furthermore, as the world’s first and world’s largest TV, it has also overcome the challenge of previous OLED panel-based TVs. The CURVED ULTRA HD TV therefore has all the superior viewing experiences of an OLED TV such as exceptional and lively picture quality at a uniform color and brightness across the entire 105-inch screen.
CONTINUED LEADERSHIP IN MONITORS
Originally developed as user-centric PC monitors to enhance the use of monitors for both work and play, LG’s IPS 21:9 UltraWide monitors have proven to be a critical and commercial success. Continuing its leadership in the monitor market, the award winning line-up has unveiled the crown jewel of the IPS 21:9 UltraWide monitor series: the 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide (UM95) monitor.
The 34-inch IPS 21:9 UltraWide offers stunning image clarity thanks to an UltraWide QHD resolution (3440 x 1440), an unparalleled transfer speed through Thunderbolt 2′s advanced connectivity options for the best home entertainment experience and a True Color Finder calibration software that ensures optimal color expression.
In addition to the 34-inch, LG will also be showcasing the slightly leaner and more economical model UM65 which is available in 25-, 29- and 34-inch display sizes. With three different screen sizes, consumers can choose the right model size for their particular multitasking needs.
CES visitors will also be able to experience other cousin models. The 29-inch UB65 is geared towards workplace productivity and the 31-inch LG Real 4K (31MU95) boasts superb picture quality thanks to its 4096 x 2160 screen resolution. The new Color Prime monitor (27MB85) supports Thunderbolt 2 and LG’s True Color Pro calibration software for professional-level transfer speeds and color accuracy.
